The mediaBar behavior enables you to play media files, display related HTML content, and search for new content in the Media Bar without opening another browser window.
1. Click the following link to demonstrate a behavior-targeted link. The Media Bar displays the default page in the content area, and displays the linked video file in the player.
2. Click the following button to play a different media file in the Media Bar player. This example uses window.open to load sample text and HTML in the Media Bar. The sample uses the playURL method to play a separate media file. Notice that playback of the shuttle launch is not interrupted.
3. Launch the shuttle again. Notice that when you click another untargeted link to media content from the browser window, the Media Bar navigates to a default page.
